03/01/12

For New Month Day today (in our house we celebrate anything and everything!) the five of us made kites. The girls loved it and worked so carefully on them.

Even though my oldest is 11 and feels way to old for many things, she never passes up the opportunity to do crafts and art projects with us. In fact, I think she would be shocked if we didn't automatically include her.

Of course, my 4-year-old, who is very independent, wanted to color, cut out and paste everything...

so my 2 1/2 year old took that as a challenge and did hers all by herself.

My 1 year old decided she wanted to be doing what her sisters were doing. Today was obviously an orange day for her.
She was so surprised when I did not let her have a pair of scissors to cut out her picture (like I was really giving them to her).

They are each so creative yet so different, I am in awe of their unique beauty.

We had so much fun ushering in the month of March.
I love homeschool!
