Today we celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday!
We read his books, we did The Cat in the Hat finger play, we ate green eggs and ham for lunch and we made oobleck!
All in all it was a great day!
My oldest was Thing 2 and my youngest was Thing 1
My 4 year-old was the fish in the pot.
My 2 1/2 year-old was The Cat in the Hat
The oobleck was a big gooey hit!
Especially for the baby!
Totally awesome ideas! My kids are big Seuss fans so we made some recipes out of the Green Eggs and Ham cookbook, but oobleck sounds much more fun!

I have always said, a family that plays together, stays together..and you folks have got that in spades!! most excellent series of pics!! and the messy baby..priceless..love your parenting style..I wish more people took time to play with their kids..REALLY play with them..keep up the great fun!!
