My three and four-year-olds went to a drawing workshop at the local library. Though it seemed too old for them, they were riveted and listened very closely to the directions given. It is so great that they both worked so hard and were so proud of their results. What I love most though, is that neither got upset and gave up in frustration. They just drew and enjoyed their end results.
Good for them.

The first picture they drew was a dog.

Aw, that's so wonderful! I have been trying to get my four year old to draw, but he's intimidated by the fact that his seven year old sister can draw things easily and well. I am glad yours were happy with their own drawings. Hopefully that means they will each be confident in what they can do. (I love your 4 year old's cat!)
